A charming extrovert, everybody loves the Cavallo veltliner. Its amiable character is all about contrasts: it gets the very best out of young and old vines, cool and sunny vineyards, and loess and stony soils.

Cavallo riesling really lives the high life: Marianna lovingly tends the vineyard, which was planted in 1999 on gravel deposited by the Danube in the Tertiary era. Crystal-clear with elegant fruit notes, every year it’s one of the top wines in the expert tastings. It has great cellaring potential – or at least it would if it ever had the chance...

The elegant Cavallo rosé brings a smile to every wine fan’s face – a taste of summer all year round. Its gentle pink tones are all about pure enjoyment and loving life. The stylish fruity notes reflect the fine art of the winemaker’s trade.

Full of character, authentic and unique: our Grüner Veltliner Gobelsburg bears its name with pride – and rightly so! The wine deftly marries the full spectrum of distinctive qualities that make each of the Gobelsburg vineyards so special.

In the Ried Redling vineyard, the loess is exceptionally fine-grained. The still young vines, propagated from our own mass selection,
thrive magnificently here and produce a remarkably vibrant Grüner Veltliner with impressive depth of fruit.

The Ried Spiegel vineyard is arguably the best place to grow Veltliner in the entire Kamptal valley, thanks to its dense, extremely chalky layer of loess. This unique terroir gives our Grüner Veltliner its unique and unmistakable character year after year.

Am Hochplateau der Riede Spiegel wächst unser wertvollster Veltliner: 1969 von Großvater Leopold ausgepflanzt, sorgt hier die Mineralzusammensetzung des Bodens für besonders vielschichtige lagerfähige Veltliner.

This sophisticated Riesling grows on steep, narrow terraced vineyards high above the town of Krems. The extremely demanding terrain always produces spectacular results: a classy, delicate wine bursting with life.

With this prima donna of the wine world, the name says it all:  ‘Stein’ is the German word for stone, and getting the best out of the Ried Steinbad vineyard – and this headstrong grape variety – means travelling down a rocky road. But when the end result is a great wine with beautiful mineral notes, it’s worth it!

An exquisite rosé made from Zweigelt and Pinot Noir with added sparkle: our elegant Sparkling Rosé Brut is the perfect companion for special occasions, and equally at home as an ice-cold sundowner on a relaxing summer evening.

“I love Zweigelt!” – after a maximum of eight days on the mash, the Cavallo takes on just a hint of the tannins from the grape seed, clearing the way for pure, fruity cherry notes to take centre stage.

Producing red wine is all about passion and an unswerving commitment to quality. And creating a wine with all the finesse of the Kamptal region that is one of Austria’s top Zweigelts is what drives us.

It ranks among the truly great red grape varieties! Its capricious nature is well known - yet with patience and meticulous care, wines of extraordinary elegance and spice emerge.

Pinot noir loves Lower Austria’s cool climate. Made with respect, and no little enjoyment , we’re proud to present a pinot noir with strong roots in the Kamptal valley.

Our merlot vines grow on the gravelly red soil of the Gobelsburg plateau. Valuable terroir, low yields and passion are the foundation stone for creating great red wines.
